Sept. 19 St. Stephen Festival. There are many ways to help at the festival. If you are interested, call Patty or Martha at the office. Hay muchas maneras de ayudar en el festival. Llamar a Martha o Patty.
Oct. 30/31 Disciples on the Journey Retreat at Smithfield. This retreat is for all high school students. The retreat starts Saturday morning and continues through Mass on Sunday. It involves an overnight camp-out and features a variety of learning stations and activities on the life and mission of the Church.
Oct. 30 Halloween Event/Trunk or Treat Middle school youth will host this event for the elementary and younger kids. There will be games, prizes, candy and also food for sale. Come out and have fun with us. Los jóvenes que se encuentra en middle school serán los hospiciados de este evento para los niños de elementaria y niños pequeños. Habrá juegos, premios, dulces y también comida para vender.
Nov. 14/15 & Dec. 4/5 Youth selling St. Stephen Ornaments Los jóvenes estarán vendiendo adornos navideños.
Nov. 11-14 Search for Christian Maturity Search is a weekend retreat for 11th – 12th grade youth. Activities encourage self-discovery and reflections on relationships with others and with God. Retreat team is made up of past Searchers who model leadership, faith sharing, and ministry with their peers. Adults in youth ministry also attend and participate in Search. Searches usually fill up quickly, so sign-up for the earliest date possible to ensure yourself a space.
Nov. 19-21 Connections Retreat at Salter Path This is a weekend retreat for 9th and 10th grade youth. The retreat focuses on community building, spiritual growth, self-esteem, and relationships with family, friends, and God. This retreat involves low ropes courses and other physical challenge type activities.
Adults: volunteer/chaperones are always needed/Chaperones son siempre bienvenidos.
