YOUTH MINISTRY
March 21: Meeting at 5:00 pm for all rising 6th through
12th grade youth interested in running for Parish Youth Board for 2010-2011.
Prospective youth board members need to be enrolled in Faith Formation classes,
active in parish and diocese events and possess leadership qualities. Parents
are invited to attend this meeting if they so desire.
March 22: High School Youth Convention forms are due. This year marks our
diocese's 40th year for Convention. Parents, please encourage your youth to
attend this event. It is amazing to witness so many Catholic youth in one place
enjoying God's message and sharing it with one another. Definitely food that
nurtures our faith! Convention is held May 14, 15 and 16th in Greenville, NC.
Chaperones from St. Stephen will drive youth to the convention and be present
with them throughout the weekend. Total cost $190. Youth are asked to pay $90.
Los formularios para los estudiantes de High School para asistir a la
Convención de Jóvenes tienen que ser entregadas. El costo es de $ 90. La
Convención es un evento grando que se reúnen dos los jovénes Católicos de
nuestra Diócesis de Raleih. Este año marco el 40 Aniversario. Estaremos todos
juntos en Greenville, NC para celebrar nuestra unidad y nuestra fe y aprender

April 11: High School Lock In forms are due. The Lock in is scheduled for
April 17/18. We will prepare the scrapbook and banner for convention as well as
talk about how we are Christ's witnesses. Cost $15.

ya entregadas. El horario para este evento es para Abril 17 y 18. Prepararemos
el estandarte y el libro para la convención como también hablaremos cómo

April 18: 5:00 pm. Youth Board Meeting.
April 24: Middle School Jamboree. Diocesan retreat held in Smithfield,
NC. This is a one-day event for MS youth to join together with others in our
diocese. Is your youth only exposed to his/her Faith Formation class of 10-12
students? Won't they be amazed to go on this retreat and see that there are 100s
of Catholics just like them in our area? Please encourage your student to go to
experience Jesus' love in many shapes, colors, and personalities! The forms are
out and are due back by March 29. Cost $20.
Este retiro es para los jóvenes de Secundaria Media y se llama Jamborre. Es
un retiro Diocesaro que sera en Smithfield, NC. Este es un retiro de un día
donde se juntarán con otros jóvenes de otras parroquias. Por favor, aníme a su
jóven a ir y que experimente el amor de Jesús en diferentes maneras, colores, y
personalidades. Estos formularios deben de ser entregados a más tardar Marzo 29.
El costo es de $20.00.
